Dimension 1.5 was an interactive laser art exhibit featured in the Giggle Box – Montana’s first Interactive Art Museum. The museum was operation between 2020-2021.

As visitors enter the space they are immediately transported into a cosmic space filled with black-light. A psychedelic black and white striped wormhole in one corner and a 12 foot nebula painting on the far wall. As you make your way through the room, you may find an urge to punch some large arcade buttons on the side of a pyramid structure.

At first they might appear to do absolutely nothing at all. But as you make your way around the pyramid structure your image is shot through panes of unearthly material in holographic fashion. The arcade buttons now seem to change the color of these projections as well as the LED lights illuminating the ground. You’ll just have to press all the buttons to find out what they all do!
